Day 26 of Dr. Levine's Exercise Protocol (A.S.)

Feelin' Gooood.  I am still very tired after performing the exercises though.  Right after the exercises I am wobbly and dizzy, then, for the next 15 minutes or so I am ok.  The fatigue hits 20 minutes after finishing the exercises and sleep is an immediate necessity.

Diet is also being carefully attended to.  I am trying to eat at the same regular intervals everyday - no caffeine, no sugar, enjoying foods that are lower on the glycemic index and organic, whole foods when possible.

Soldier on!

  1. I just did my Maximal Steady State workout today...didn't turn out so well...I started to black out and have breathing problems...we called Dr. Levine's office and they said to back up a few weeks so I can be stronger before I do another MSS workout...

  2. Hey Gracey, I just finished my second week of Dr. Levine's protocol. I actually didn't do my MSS for this week and stuck with my Base Pace because I didn't feel ready. Keep us updated on how you progress! I want to hear how this pans out for everyone. Most of our outside family doesn't understand why I'm doing this and not just taking meds. I really want this to work for as many people as possible!!

  4. Hi. I just wanted to say thanks for putting together this amazing website. I have recently been diagnosed with POTS after 1.5 years of diagnostic hell. I have decided to try and cure myself through Dr. Levine's protocol. I just bought my heart monitor today! I read everything on your site in an effort to try and figure out what to do. Your site is so incredibly useful for someone like me. Thank you so much!

  5. This doesn't sound healthy to me. If exercise gives you these immediate reactions, then your body is telling you to stop.

  6. Did I mention that in the past 3 weeks of exercising I have gained another 20% function!!! I am so thrilled. I have done things in the past 2 weeks I havnen't done in over 2 years!!! I never thought the protocol would work this quickly for me.

Elizabeth you had me scared to death for the first month, but I know we are all different. I haven't been this hopeful and excited in the 2 1/2 years I have been sick. Thank you Thank you because without this blog I would never have heard of Dr. Levine's protocol. It is saving my life right now along with a clean diet and regular atlas chiropractic adjustments.

Whoo Hoo for recovery of this mess!

  7. I have very similar reactions to exercise, but not always. My problem is that after I exercise I have to shower, feed my kids and try to accomplish my commute to work. Doesn't always work, but I am still employed. Thanks for posting this and can't wait to learn the details of the protocols.
